Wood Place

An original back split in South Oakville, Wood Place had previously had a top-up addition completed. This provided the much needed additional square footage that our clients had initially sought for their growing family but largely kept the original kitchen size in tact.  Fast forward ten years and the requirements of the home have changed again. A larger kitchen with more storage and greater entertainment capacity was in order and required a complete reimagining of the space.

PEWTER designed a space that provided more functionality by capturing the Dining Area and Family Room as Kitchen space. The previous Kitchen location became the new home of a stunning fireplace with built in television nook.  Flanked by custom Irpinia Cabinetry and an A/V setup by our friends from Aux City, the new Family Room provides a more intimate space to cozy up and relax in.
